Eagle printing question. - Click HERE for Original Thread

Now this might be a very silly question but ....

A board maker wants .prn files from the original Eagle .brd file.

Now if the .brd file is "printed to file" in the usual "print " menu , it doesn't come up with a .prn extension .

So how does one get a .prn file from the original .brd file.
Thanks.

Rename the print to file output with a prn extension?

most boardmakers would accept the .brd file.
Better leave the camprocessing to them. They know what to do and what not.

Looks like richie is right, print to file and rename the file .prn

I actually did that.
I saved to 'file' with a .prn extension .
But I'm unable to print it out as explained on that 'frogmorecs' page.
The board maker also said that he couldn't use the file !

Let me see what he will do with the .brd file.

But I'd really like to get to the bottom of this issue. Why won't it print on my printer. The error statement says that the printer link could not be found ( or words to that effect ).

The printer is in 'share' mode with its own 'share' name. Nothing seems amiss.
Thanks.

Try printing it to PDF first....
