NView Media Pro question? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Does anyone happen to know if there is some kind of trick to getting the NView Spectra Media Pro to detect a VGA connection? I have tried plugging the cable from my computer to the panel and from my lap top to my panel and finally from a VGA Theatre (TV-3000) converter to the panel and it continues to say the same thing - no source detected. The panel works fine with S-video and RCA, but I spent a hundred bucks on the VGA converter so I'd like to see it in action! :) Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Salzy, I'm from Montreal and I have the same setup as you. I'm using an Nview Media pro with TV3000. I had the same problem as you. I was mad when I bought the TV3000 and it did not work with the VGA "digital" input of the LCD panel.
The Nview media pro was used on MAC computers. You cannot use the VGA 9pin "digital" input, you must use the 15pin "Analog" input. You HAVE to buy a 15pin(wide)->15pin(vga) converter. It was expensive because you can only find them in a "BMAC" store. Your setup with the TV3000 should work with it.
I attached a picture of it. Hope it helps!
