how to calculate xfomer power, Pleas Help - Click HERE for Original Thread
Christian
Hi I'm about to buy a xformer, but I don't know how to calculate the power output.

It's primary is 220V and there are 2 secondaries of 24V each.
All I know is that it gives 10 Amps, but how many watts is that?

Thought it might make a killer powersupply, but really would like to know how many watts it can give.

Best Regards
/Chris

P=(24*2)(10)VA=480VA (I assume 24Vrms per side)
