I've got this Fisher "Studio Standard" system that my cousin gave me, the amp didn't power up, the turntable needed a new stylus/cartridge, the tape deck didn't power up and needed new belts, etc. I thought it was worth fixing up so I diagnosed, ordered parts, effected repairs and now I have a nice stereo like I never thought I'd have, I really like it.
I'm trying to get the equalizer hooked up but I'm puzzled. It seems it is meant only for recording with the tape deck, but I'm not sure because my cousin lost the user manual a long time ago, the system is well over twenty years old.
See the photos for jacks. The first one is the back of the equalizer, the second the tape deck. Thanks ahead of time.

Hi,
It easy, you hook up the equalizer to your receiver as if it were the tape deck into the tape monitor and then plug the tape deck into the equalizer. Just remember that you will always be running the receiver in tape mode. The switch that you used to use on the receiver to get to tape is now on the EQ. |

They're ordinary RCA plugs just like the others. |
