Forte Model 4a - Click HERE for Original Thread

Forte being a Threshold offshoot I thought I'd post a quick question in here. Not sure if Nelson was still with Threshold at the time or had anything to do with Forte, but I think he did.

I have Polk Audio SDAs1C's which will only operate safely with a common ground amplifier. Is the Forte 4a a common ground design? If not, can the negative binding post be tied together to make it a common ground amp.

I'm looking at purchasing a used one and I need to know if it will work properly with my SDA's?

TIA for a quick response.

Thanks Jacco as I remembered that thread after my hastie post. Thanks also to Nelson. I passed on the amp (no pun intended) based on the link Jacco posted.
