Just bought a pair of DLK model 1 speaker at a garage sale for $5. They sound really nice and have real wood cabinets. Does anyone know anything about these? Thanks

8" 2 way with phenolic ring tweets and variable L-pads. If they sound good, they are good. :)

DLK and later Domus was a House brand my Minnesota electronics retailer called SHAACK electronics. they were designed by Steve Tate. Most models were very good for there time. the 1-1/2 model being there most popular. featured two 8" woofers with rubber surrounds and Phenolic ring tweeter.

I have a pair of Model 3's in my rehearsal room now. still sound like new. It is amazing how many of these i have found all over the united states. as far as i know, they were only sold here in MN.

Killer buy!

They do sound really good and are in good condition and $5 for the pair. I will keep my eyes out for any others. I appreciate your info about these.
