Variac, excellent idea. The only concern I'd have is that there are so many good threads in Analogue that this thread may soon become overwhelming. I'll limit this post to one thread: Casey's corian TT. This thread - sadly incomplete at this time - is terrific at showing not just the great idea, nor just a finished product, but at revealing the engineering and craft problems involved in the creation of a turntable - replete with false starts and re-doing of work.
It is unusual to find somebody willing to both be willing to show his errors as well as his successes, and to spend the time showing the process in detail. Kudos to Casey, I say.
Regards.

Thank you,
I share your concerns about it becoming unwieldy but we will edit the descriptions you guys supply when we consolidate them. The trouble is that we don't have time to do textensive editing.
SO.... Please post a link, and a maximum two-line description. You don't have to support your choice. It WILL continue to be listed unless it turns out to be some knd of spam or something. Just give a link , the short description, and the interested member wil click on it and discover for him/her self the value of it..
