Philips CDM1 MKII = CDM2?? - Click HERE for Original Thread
FC5687
Hello!
Is the Philips CDM1 MKII a direct replacement to Philips CDM2? I know the CDM2 is the plastic version of CD1 MKII and share the same servo circuit.

Thanks!

From the pictures it seems the connectors are different:

You're comparing a CDM1Mk1 with a CDM2 there.

CDM1mk2 is die cast version of CDM2. I have run a CDM2 in place of a CDM1mk2 in a Philips CD880. Just needed to adjust focus offset and laser power pots.
