Hi all,
I have a couple old Electrohome speakers, upwards firing with diffuser I suppose it's called, shaped like lamps. The images should make that clear-ish. These are weird enough that I figured someone here would want them. They work, but need rewiring. Apparently the Philips drivers are alright in full range projects.
I'd like to trade for a decent project box/enclosure like the aluminium Hammonds or similar, I'll be using it for a headphone SOHA amplifier.
Other cases considered. I'd like to keep shipping inside north america if possible. Email me with possible trades. If you're frantic for 'em and don't have a case to trade err, email me.
They have the Philips 7060/M8 full range speakers in them. Here's information courtesy of one of Planet10's sites.
<"6" (155mm) 8W AD7060/M8 Full Range / Whizzer Cone
Philips 6 1/8" (155mm) paper cone full range drivers with 2.5" (65mm) whizzer cone -- this is terminated with a flat ring which helps reduce whizzer resonances. 8 ohms (DCR=7.3 ohm). They have a textured paper cone extending into treated accordian surrounds, 1" (25mm) voice coil, and the trademark octaganol 8-legged stamped basket. they have a 3rd tag for grounding the basket.
Efficiency about ........91 dB ..">
They have an amusing surround type effect that is surprisingly effective, they need to be refurbished or I can just ship the drivers.
If I had a room with shag carpet I'd use them for retro funky surrounds.
