Low Pass Filter in line with a Piezo Transducer - Click HERE for Original Thread
ShaunL
Hi,
I'm new to this forum. Just wondering if anyone could help me out with something.
I've built a stomp box which is basically a box with a pickup inside. They're used by tapping your foot on them to get a percussive accompaniment while playing other instruments.
The problem is, that they require quite a bit of EQ to roll off the high and mid frequecies.
I want to place a Low Pass Filter between the Piezo transducer and the output of the box but am unsure about how to go about it and what value capacitor/inductor etc to use. I'm pretty sure the Piezo has an impedance of 600 ohms... and i would like the LPF to roll off frequencies above about 400hz.

If anyone can help me out, that would be great!
Thanks.
Shaun
