Lowest cost Chipamp, PCB+parts? - Click HERE for Original Thread

I'm looking to build a 6 channel amp for triamping using the either the lm3886 or tda7294 or similar. What is the cheapest way to go about this using premade pcbs or a kits? I'm interested in minimizing time and cost without sacrificing sound quality or power output. Just for the record I am not interested in fancy capacitors or cables, just low distortion and power output for the dollar.

Thanks!

You are after everything for nothing, I am doing that myself, except I have the time and the only criteria I have are minimise costs and also some convenience. I would do the following:

1. Buy LM3885 PCB(gold plated!!) from Chipamp for $6 each you get free post. If you like buy power supply PCB as well otherwise build yourself there are only few parts required.

2. Get capacitors or even resistors from ebay sold as seconds(most of them are in good conditions) they are so much cheaper there, use polypropylene and electrolytic caps not polyester, or ceramic. Otherwise you can acquired them via online parts shop, more expensive this way.

3. Normal full bridge diode is suffcient.

4. Use available material to build enclosure otherwise buy casing fro parts shop.

there you are.
