Noisy electronic volume control SU-G95 - Click HERE for Original Thread
Mailliw
I fixed a bad fan connection on a Technics SU-G95 that was given to me. I have also been trying to fix the annoying pops when I change volume.

After figuring out how the volume control works, I am starting to think this might be normal. It uses a rotary encoder, a micro controller and an electronic volume control IC (TC9212P).

They are pretty loud, so if this was in the design, that's silly.

Anyone have experience with this amp?

Thank you,
William
