I do not understand the question.

can you clear?

do you want to use cat5e cables in your project? Or do you want to make your own cat5e cables?

We have made speaker cable & interconnects out of Cat 5 strands... it works quite well... it is especially frugal, leaning on the millions of miles made for the computer industry

Yes, I want to make some of my own to use. Sorry for the vague question. Let me be more clear. How do they sound? What ends did you use? Is Belden 1585A THE cable to use? Give my all the great details.

Best,

They sound very good... especially for the money.

For speaker wire i use a single spaced pair... (my wire is cryoed)

Chris configured his a bit different. His interconnects are would around (90 degree crossing) a plastic fish tank line and terminated in Eichmann copper plugs.
