hi guys, i've found a nice carver m500-t but it's faulty, 4 transistors are blown an i can't see the model of the transistors, does anyone has experience with it?i need at least a schematic to try to repair it...thanx a lot in advance!

anyone?maybe someone who knows the transistors inside the amplifier...please!:bawling:

Those transistors are long obsolete, most likely NEC B705 and NEC D745. Carver had a service bulletin to replace them with 2SA1302 (also almost obsolete so use 2SA1943) and 2SC3281 (also almost obsolete so use 2SC5200). The new transistors are a different case style so you will have to get creative when mounting the new transistors. I have used these transistors in a M500 without any problems.
