TAS 3103, that's all?

Hello,

maybe this is the way for a module, for testing the
TAS3103.

The module is like a dip40-package and hold only the
necessary parts. So a single layer board can be used.
For testing a codec is required.

Please check/comment my schematic and layout

I etched a similar board (see lousy picture) a while ago for
playing with this chip.It only contains the 4 necessary decoupling
caps.all relevant pins is available.I used a breadboard for testing
for flexibility, and used a PIC micro to control it.if you do the
decoupling right according to datasheet, your 1 layer board will certainly be sufficient for testing.

Note: make sure to feed it a fixed mclock signal.if the
mclock changes, the TAS3103 I2C bus has a tendency of locking up.
