guido,
Does the S3 now come with the new Audi nose-job?
Ian, did you ever wonder where they put all the dirt from that pit?
Yeah I wondered about where all the dirt went, its sure is a big hole.
There were distrations so it was not entirely a goegraphical tour. Such as this woman, Jo from Virginia.
She flew over with her mum over to Las Vegas for her 80th birthday but she left the kid behind or so the story goes? All in all she was quite a handful..just would not leave me alone!
macka
Ps. There is at least on jealous female in CA who will curse me when she see this...Muhhahhaah.

Hi,
Dont know, i am not that close with audi. I spammed in the thread because 'hotrod A3 = S3' is a valid equasion 😀
Normally the special models are always somewhat behind the normal models (if they r made in a different factory. Renault has this usually). Dunno bout audi
is there an Aleph8, by chance ?
Macka, you dont have Jo's phonenumber by hand, do you ?
But not the Polish one, please !
Isnt this much easier to do with the Aleph30 ?
For which some have more than enough patience to await the Uni-Aleph boards.

guido, it's now the S4 and it still sports the old Audi nose. Here's the A3 with the new nose. There's also an A4 and A6.

I'd really love to see these boards with everyone wanting to build/experiment with the Aleph design.

I gave the wrong specs for the top fuel...it's more like:
300+mph, 7000+hp (almost 1000hp per cylinder), SC V8 that can eat up a quarter mile in 4.5 seconds (that's 0-60mph for the fastest production car).

Meaning;
-A top fuel does +4 G's
-Reaches nearly 400 mph at the end of the run.
-Does 0-60 in less than 1 second.
Up yours, Schumacher

Jacco,
Actually a Schumacher also rules the NHRA Top Fuel category...Tony Schumacher driving the U.S. Army dragster. Not related as Tony has an American accent.

Id rather have a Nissan Skyline 1000hp awd Twinn Turbo : O )
I think the stock Skyline is 400-500HP...will twin turbo take it to 1kHP? I say that's for cruising and not the dragstrip🙂

actually a stock skyline is 280hp : O )
and no 2 turbos will not bring it to 1000hp.
My fav story there is a nice honda here in town looks nice it is not to riced out a big shot guy with is truck with a big ol 350 in it and lots done to it showing off saying his truck is faster because he has more power blah blah blah. Point of the story the HONDA rocket ROASTED HIM even though the truck had more power. some people just dont understand you have a nice big HEAVY 350 engine you need that engine to help it self bemoved let alone the truck just because you have a small little s10 with a 350 in it doesnt mean your faster. 4cylinder engine weigh 1/4 the weight as a 350..

dragsters.
It's all about power to weight. a friend sent me an article from the Corvette club: If a top fuel dragster is sitting on the start line (1/4 mile) and you cross the start line going 200mph in your Calloway vette, the dragster will pass you just past half track. The dragster uses more horsepower driving it's blower than the vette has. The g forces are up to 8gs and one dragster has more horsepower than the first row of the Daytona 500! It also stated that the nitro and air is so compressed by the blower that when it gets in the cylinders it becomes a solid! No wonder they have to rebuild those things every run. I was at the sand drags last weekend. My ex boss has an atv with 1000cc of alcohol powered Rotax making 230 rear wheel horsepower on the dyno! The atv with him on it weighs under 650 pounds. It's a fun ride!😀
