Hello to you all
I have searched a long time on chipmakers-sites for a replacemant for the L272M double opamp, because the L272M has a lousy 1V/uS slewrate.
Difficult to find, the L272 is capable of 700mA too, and selected for minimal offset in CDM-2.
The higher slew rate wil probably reduce reading errors.
Anyone a suggestion?

please elaborate.
(AFAIK it works just fine the way it is.....)
L272 in CDM-2
Hello TDA1540
I modified a lot: bypassing caps, new PS caps, Non-Os mode, OP275 opamps, Tent's XO clock (with TL431 PS) Dampening of CDM-2 and new MDF cabinet with metal lining for RF-screening(CD660= mucho plastico) Added remote control also.
Now busy with Jocko's I/V.
Will build Kwak 7, add 4 * 1541A parallel with shift registers and tube output in future.
The relative slow L272 controlles the radial arm + focus, when the feedback cycle is accelerated(higher slew) the CDM 2 will probably also produce less jitter, not only with excentered discs.
Why elaborate, its worth the try to me?
