Well done Alcaid, very nice indeed.
Its nice to see some pictures, i haven't even got round to getting some boards made yet 😱
Are you still going to build a bridged version
Congratulations on a nice looking setup.

nice!!! how much did it cost you to build the amp and the preamp?
is that a softstart circuit in the amp? can you please provide a schematics and parts list
thanks

Alcaid,
That is so sweet, both iside and out. Truly an inspiration. Thanks for sharing. How does it sound? 🙂

Very good job, indeed Petter. You got me impressed there🙂
A beautyful and complete system. Made from scratch in Eagle and up to this pair of amps, that is way above average😎
Hats off, gents. Let the cork's go🙂 🙂
Could you explain a bit about the fuse board?
Steen.
Ps. And yes the OPA549 sounds great, if someone didn't know😉

It's a soft start circuit. Schematics from:
http://www.sound.westhost.com/project39.htm (bottom of page)
Of course I made my own PCB 😉
Rod's didn't incorporate the trafo on the pcb, and used the power resistors on a daughter board.
It's insulated under with tape for safety.
And the sound is very nice indeed 😀

I'm thinking of a new preamp with unbalanced in (all my sources are unbalanced) and balanced out. Two amps in parallell for each phase and of course bridged at the end

Working on a pre right now, but don't know when i'll build it. Already got a working pre you know 😉
