I was surfing around on Daysi-laser and found this amasing cd-player and thought "I'd like to have something like that"🙂 🙂
So I'm just wondering if somebody on this forum has been building this amasing Master Piece

here's what you can do - latest version of the transport, rest all in a kit. Not too challenging, but there's probably room for some improvement since they already offer all sorts of upgrades to this kit

It's from Korea.
Original site is http://www.nextaudio.co.kr/sub/product/cdt/c-1000.html. You can see more pictures except Korean characters.

If that player works as well as their web site, I'd look elsewhere ;-)
but seriously - this looks interesting, but there's hardly any detailed info on that site, nor can you go and actually find a price. The player listed on Audiogon is not the same unit. It's a kit, different inputs, etc. I can't even tell on the TNA site if that is the same transport. No mention of CD-Pro. I like the looks of it, but if these folks actually want to sell this internationally, they need to beef up that web site a little.
The unit on Augon is a $700 kit, $50 shipping maybe, and then there are some upgrades available. Just email the guy. I haven't decided yet if I should buy such a complete kit only to replace half of what's in it, or to build something from scratch.

Actually, it was a group buy project (cd-pro2 transport) of 2002-2003. I don't know the total price, but the price of case was about $700-800 years ago. I guess the leader of the project has established TNA and he is preparing another group buy and comlplete product.

There were a few group buy site of CD-Pro2 transport here in Korea and a few hundreds diyer participated already. However, all are for domestic users since sites are usually operated in Korean .
I am attaching my CD-PRO-2 Player.
Features : CD-PRO2M, Non-OS, Dual Philips DAC 1541-S2 (double crown), I2S bus, Tube buffer (WE 417A) and tube rectifier (mullard GZ30), totally home made pcb (using photoresister, powerpoint pattern drawing, etc).

I built the kit on Audiogon. It uses the CD-PRO2M. It is a very nice transport kit for the money. The dac part in the CD-PRO2M is ok.

my cd trannsport
Hi
I used cdpro2 from mr.Thevissen to build my exotic cd transport.
I think it's little sad to buy something ready to build or ready at all! The pride of a self made gear is clearly superior ...and more relevant to this forum!!! 😉 😉 😉

I think there has been a misunderstanding, I'm not saling anything I did just like the design of the one i shown in pictures....
I'd love your design Roberto, ma che bello!!!
I'm wondering if it's possible to get a copy of the Zip file with the drawing and the Schematics. If so pleas mail me at jouch@yahoo.fr.

Just to update people reading this thread. I sold the CD-PRO2M and Audio Note Dac 1.1x for an Eastsound CD-E5 ($750.00 US). To me the Eastsound is a better. Yes, no DIY, but it sounds very good!
