Anyone have the pinout of the 26 pins connector on infocus LCD panels? I think they are standard and have all the same pinout...
Hi there, it's already on the board as MSX-2 provided it for me a while ago - It's under TVT 3000 (the model of my infocus panel) though so a search propably wouldn't have found it.

I tried to make one using a cut off VGA cable and a 26 pin plug that I had bought, but on the first hurdle, failed. Not sure if it can be done using a vga cable but I couldn't see that it had enough wires in it.
I also emailed infocus about it and got the part number of the cable, which is 210-0014-05. I think you are right on it being a standard cable for all infocus as this part number works on my tvt3000 and is also the current cable for modern projectors. I found one on Ebay (America) for $20, so that solved my problems.
I think I still have the 26 pin plug at home, if I find it I could send it to you (free) as I have no use for it, i'll write another reply if I find it.
Also, i've been thinking about trying to modify my panel - split the lcd from the controller to put it in a smaller enclosure, but they are linked by a pcb instead of a ribbon cable - has anyone any experience of replacing these? I'll post a picture in a few days (as i'm going away for the weekend) to make it clearer .

Yup, i've found this thread on the forum. but since it's for a particular model, i was not sure if it was standard or not, so i ask for the pinout of any infocus model, and if someone reply, i will be able to compare to see if both pinout look similar.

Sharp, Infocus, nView, Polaroid, ASK, Proxima Cable Pinout
A standard vga cable will work as a donor. It doesn't matter if all the pins or wires are there as long as the important ones are. I have built 130+ cables for Sharp, nView, InFocus, Proxima, Polaroid and ASK/Proxima. I use a VGA to start with and add the correct connector by cutting off one end and use my meter to check each wire as I go. Only 5 wires are of the biggest importance, R,G,B and the Vertical and Horizontal sync wires, the rest are ID Bits or aka, grounds, but must be used correctly or the panel/projector won't know a cable is connected.

Sorry to bump and old topic, but does anyone know anywhere to get one of these cables? I recently picked up an LP580 on ebay with no cable, and unfortunately don't know how to make cables myself. I'd gladly buy one from someone if you wanted to build one for me. Give me a pm if you are interested!
