My comments on the Extremis: I was hoping for a longer excursion, with a big-roll surround, so I could build the world's smallest Sonotube subwoofer. I hope we can expect an "Extremis SUB" variation to be released at some point.

Actually from what I understand, they will extend farther than the 5 kHz mentioned earlier. I believe the picture with the phase plug is the newer version and is supposed to be fairly flat out to 15-20k.

That 4" would be excellent for Surf,Sun,&Sound's reference speaker project where he was looking for a full-range driver with a wider band than most. I don't know if he settled on a Jordan JX92S.
