I'm interested, who is the manufacturer? The tranny looks nice, but who's is it? And why is it so expensive?

I do not know the transformer terminology. I was told that it is vacumm sealed and filled with epoxy and several customers cliamed the quality is good. Not Plitron definitely, OEM maybe, maybe not ! Do not join if you feel slightly uncomfortable!
That is exactly what I meant by "potted". I'm sure that it is a very nice transformer--very quiet mechanically!
but was told "at the expense of poorer heat dissipation so bigger core/coil is needed thus heavier." The non-potted is about 30% lighter.

The enclosure comes in a package of parts including 4 heatsinks, top, bottom, connecting bars, gold-color feet and screws to be assemblied easily.
Transformer -
the picture, price and spec shown is the one I want to order.
($200 for such tranny is a steal if you even go to Plitron's website, they got price info)
you can and have to specify your own spec including plain vanila type (no metal case) with different price
