Quick question , how much power can I get out of aleph x with only 4 devices with R-Theta 11x11 heatsinks and proper power supply ?
thanks.
thanks.
Aleph X spreadsheet
You can figure the power with this easy spreadsheet. Here is the link http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=101066#post101066

Re: Aleph X spreadsheet
I tried, but then there is another spreadsheet too. How much power can a single irpf244 handle , in terms of heat ? I just haven't seen anyone post final results. I am trying to get an idea if its worth it to build a pair or not on top of the pair of aleph 2s that I am building. My speakers aren't that efficient, if i could get about 50 watts per channel w/o adding more output devices then i'll go ahead and build a pair 😉

Kristijan says his not-so-mini-monster is good for 65watts of power and uses 4x IRFP240

I have taken IRFP240's to 50 watts continuous dissipation
and quite hot without failure, but I would not do it in
production quantities. 25 watts is my usual limit, but some
of our stuff runs at half of that.
