Don't resize the files, they look absolutly great...

But it is a real pain to look at them.... download, expand, open in photoshop. Ruins the flow of the story.

So i shrunk them... anyone wants the original monster files, mail me.

Grey, thanx for starting this... the more transparent the subject the better for DIY speaker builders.

"With the elctronic crossover/equalizer's balanced input and output circuitry and heavy interference filtering, combined with the highest possible grade components and circuitry selected for their sonic" performance, the Main Panel and Woofer driving signals are optimally routed and shaped for life-like sound.

:scratch2: He could design a special version and call it the Rollover Beethoven.

Waiting for Rolowpas

Designing a crossover :xfingers: this flexible is no little feat you know. :Pawprint: It's a high roller :spin: and a low pass jack. :wrench: I say roll. :dice: Right through the night. :moon: 😴

Well they say time loves a hero :hbeat:
but only time will tell :clock:
If it's real :magnify:, he's a legend from heaven :goodbad:
If he ain't :bawling: guess its just as well :Pinoc:

Grey, thank you very much.

You have a wonderful way of explaining things. Sometimes it is needed just to have this kind of explanation to finally "get" something that you have anyway tought about and studied for quite a while.

Just for curiousity, what king of solution are you using in place of the "opamp" and if you have tried many, which seems to give the best results in your mind?

Ergo

Grey´s novel is well written, but if you read the "prior art" -
(Nelsons owners manual) you will find everything there.

I personally am a bit disappointed about the heavily simplified
circuitry (opamp). :whazzat:

So I'll always know where is!

If You Want to Bow Out, Bow Out

Well, if you want to bow out, bow out
And if you want to be free, be free'
Cause there's a hundred things to do
We know that its true

But if we want to pass highs, how high?
And if we want to pass lows, how low?
'Cause there's a million ways to go
We know that there are

Chorus:
You can do what you want
The opportunity's on
And if you design a Two-Way
Can we have today?
You can make it all true
And can you make me one too?
you see ah ah ah
its easy ah ah ah
We only need to know

Well if you want to say yes, say yes
And if you want to say no, say no
'Cause there's other guys who know
We know that there are

Trouble Oh trouble set me free.......

Grey,

I was only having a bit of fun and meant no harm. We just want to know if you are still designing your crossover.

May I assume that if you are you will take no personal affront in others to pressing on in another thread in the mean time? As with your courtesy to Mr. Pass, we would hope that you wouldn't mind if we proceed despite the possibility of having something ahead of the completion of your design.

As for foggy, I read your response to amo and can't make heads or tails of it. While it had drama and some poetic imagery, I can't figure out what he is to do or if his design will work be beyond the somewhat broad qualification of "in principle". Maybe someone can run a Spice program or breadboard and measure the circuit. Mr. Pass, Mr. Jung, or Mr. Curl......anyone?

Thank you very much for your help! This is of tremendous help, as I have found my self daydreaming for hours about balanced active crossovers and CMRR... Is this some kind of a disease? Is there a helpline?

Sorry no help possible anymore!

The next stadium of your addiction will be listening to fine music
thru all that DIY stuff you built and then you are lost...
promise!
