Hi folks!
I have some problems with one of my JC 1 monoblocks. It turns on like normal and you can hear and feel the relays clicking, but there is no signal out on the terminals. I meassure -1V DC on the loudspeaker terminals when in idle (no loudspeaker connected). I will look at it myself because it's not easy to have someone else look at it where I live (I do have some training on electronics).
Anyone that can help me out here with hint and tips on where to meassure and what to look for? I guess it's difficult to get any schematics of this one?
Best regards

Sounds like the output relay won't fire, because of oscillation, DC offset, overtemp, or some problem with the protection circuitry. Contact TONY@Parasound.com

I contacted Tony at Parasound on Friday and it took just a few hours to get respons from him (time difference). He gave me some hints and now I'm up and running again. It was just a shorted capasitor (C5) on the drive-board. It have been changed with a bigger one (it's just a filter cap) while I'm waiting for a new one.
I want to thank Tony at Parasound for his excellent help!!!
My face look like 🙂 and the music is playing again.
@John Curl: Are you the same JC that have his initials on this amp?
Thanks to you all!
