Recently I built a 60w amplifier for my bass guitar from this website: http://www.uashem.com/pageid-13.html
The only thing that I can't finf is the power source for it: 48v
220V Primary, 48-50V Secondary 75 to 150VA Mains transformer
Please help me, is there anyway I can build one?

hi there,
this is a common enough transformer, it maby that the specifications of this part that they give is misleading.
here is my interpretation of the spec
Primary to suit your local mains supply (they specify 220V) check this.
secondary 48 or 50Volts, 75 to 150 VA (i would use 150VA)
the secondary can be 2 windings of 24 or 50 Volts joined together in series.
Hope this helps

If it's 48V single ended you may get lucky and find a telecommunications switching supply surplus -- this is still pretty common -- and the ones I have are actually pretty quiet. This type of supply in the surplus market may be less than the cost of a transformer.
