Guitar amp, push pull

Hello all

i have a small Peavy guitar amp+speaker cabinet. i'd like to build a tube amp to replace the transistorized unit in the cabinet. i have a push pull output transformer which i could use for that

what i'm looking for is the schematics for a guitar amplifier to which i can incorporate the speaker and transformer. it may use a pair of 6550 or EL34. preferably with an option for overdrive / distortion modulation

the the transformer has primary impedance 4500ohm, secondary 8ohm. the cabinet has one driver, resistance 3ohm.

thanks

of course it's better to match the impedances but i think i will manage to operate the current driver.

It's NOT a good idea on valve amps, unlike transistor amps they do require impedance matching, otherwise you get less power out, and the transformers and valves get over loaded and tend to die.

i did google for circuits but didn't find anything suitable. i'd appreciate any referral to any circuits of guitar amps that could suit me, as well as recommendations for proven designs

There are loads of sites full of designs, here's one example
