maybe some of you remember a discussion several months ago about using FR125S together with a passive radiator. I did some calculations and came up with a 0.5 cu.ft enclosure (identical with the reflex version).
Today a good friend and I finished the cabinets.
As you can see it is a round enclosure, outside 15" diameter and 7" deep. FR125S is mounted off-center on one side and a Dayton 8" PR (75 grams Mms) is mounted on the back side.
We came up with a preliminary notch: 1mH, 8.2uF and 4.7 ohms but didn't tame the 7000Hz peak.
About the sound: due to the wide front you have no baffle step problem. Midrange is good (even better with notch). Bass is deep and powerful (too powerful for small rooms or near wall placement).
