Hi,
look up quasi.
or buy one from Workhorse.

Mine won't go to 1000w but the layout here will get to within 3dB(into 4 ohms) http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=797022#post797022 read posts #301 and #302.

Look at this chart http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=794932#post794932 read post #285

The schematic is here;

If you are patient this amp is being developed and will be ready in about 2 months or so. http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=835251#post835251

Note; this will be an ambitious project, involving high voltages and very large power supplies. Unless you have many of the parts already and some experience, a unit from Workhorse would be a good idea.

Cheers & Good Luck

i dont know if its any good to you but i use a a bridged pair of k8060 velleman kit amps to get about 220 / 250watts rms.

at around 15 / 20 gbp (£) for board, all components exept heatsink and transformer its gotta be worth a look.

when i bridged mine i left off the diodes and used a single rectifier 300va transformer and 62000uf smoothing caps, wired to the on board smoothing caps so that the power share is equal for bridge.

at the input i ran a simpl tl072 twin op amp one side to invert, the other as a buffer to ensure ballanced drive.

with 4 amps, ie,, twin bridge for stereo, that is getting on for 1000wats, or 2 x 250w rms.

hope this is of interest, if not just ignore me, most ppl do..lol.. steve
