i just got an nview z310 and it doesnt work. When i plug it in, the red led goes on but i cant get it to display anything on the screen or on the little text lcd, the backlight for the little one only goes on. Its hooked up to my computer just fine, but it doesnt display ****. I dont have the remote for it, could that be the problem??

I don't think that it would be a problem with the remote. I have had a Z215 and z350 and I could do everything with the small control panel located on the front . Good luck getting it going. If you can't get it fixed and want to sell it email me, I like to work on these in my spare time.
