I'm rather new in carhifi i got 2 pairs of loudspeakers in my car but no special sub connection is it possible to combine the frontspeakers with a sub ?
Would it be easy to make a crossover wich takes care of that ?
I assume that the sub should be connected to both outputs but how ?
My plan is to build chipamps into the car based on either LM 3886, LM 3875 or OPA 549, i have allready started building my SMPS fore this based on SG3525, but till i reach that point i would like to get my sub installed temporarily- if possible.
Eventually schematic would be very helpfull.
Suggestions fore 2+2+sub amplifiers and wich chip to prefere would be helpfull too, thanks.

there is line level preouts and i've found an adjustable Sallen-key butterworth filter 45-225 hz somewhere else in this forum, but could you please explain what L+R summing circuit is ?
eventually guide me to a link that explains it ?
Can i use preouts and loudspeakerconnections at the same time ?
thank you for helping me so far.
