"Proac response 2.5" kabinet
I am new in this forum, i've called this thread like i have because the only thing i have used from the Proac is the kabinett.
I have used loudspeakers called Mivoc maybe a lot of you guys don't even know these, its a german product very cheap, and i must say that they have a terrific sound - don't underestimate these. The thought with these loudspeakers was to build them lowbudget and get a good product.
The total price fore two loudspeakers including mahoganyveenner and everything else is about 330 USD.
If anyone could be interested, i will try to give a more detailed description of these with pictures.
Remember that the quality of loudspeakers depends on the ears who are listening to them (that is my own opinion).
The Crossovers are made by a friend of mine who has worked with loudspeakers for 20 years - simple but functionel - especially for these loudspeakers.
My own ears love them !!
By the way i'm not sure if its "crossover" that it is named - but its the thing that splits up frequencys (sorry if its wrong!)
Please have patience, if interested i have to build the description up first !

They got nothing to do with the proac, that is why i have used "" in the header, except that the "box", "case" is build exactly with the same measures as the original proac, wich gives the possibility of changing the loudspeakers and other components later, to get closer to a clone. I didn't mean to affend Proac owners or anyone else.
I wil try to be more carefull in my choice of header in the future.
I just wanted to give other DIY'ers the possibility of building a cheap and good sounding loudspeaker.
They sound very good together with my old Sony super legato F101R amplifier. Maybe i will change my opinion when i hear it together with my other projects the BZLS and the Aleph X by Nelson Pass.
Sorry .. just forget that i have made this thread...
