I'm trying to design a cooling mechanism for an amplifier (pa rack and car audio), what I need it to do, is turn on above 170 degrees F and off below this temperture. Im not sure what this is called, is it a thermal switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Farnell and RS sell them - for example: http://uk.farnell.com/jsp/search/se...Thermal&categories=UK0-SU~081000000~081038000
(if the link fails, goto farnell.co.uk, click S-U, then scroll to Switches. Then scroll down to Thermal)
I think that Farnell sell in the US, possibly under the Newark brand, if memory serves... I'm sure Digikey will hold some too...
