at the moment im building a small pa system with the Monacor sp8/150Pro and the Eminence asd1001 compression driver. Now i'm searching for a small waveguide with a horizontal dispersion of 60° - 90°. The heigth of waveguide is limited to 5'' due to the small cabinet. The crossover freq. is 2.5-2.7khz

P-Audio PH-2510 100x80 horn, 112mm high.
Or their PH-2513 but that is 132mm high.
Cost around £8-10 each here.
Choice is rather limited for screw-ons.

That goldwood is going to have poor sonic quality (Vague imaging, harsh, particularly on loud passages, basically the bad aspects people react to as "horn sound", which isn't present in modern devices) due to the diffraction features. I'd suggest trying to find a smooth-wall horn if you can.
That Goldwood GT-400 horn sounds quite poor, the GM-500 sounds vastly better (you can trim the mounting flanges).
The PRV Audio WG23-25 is also better (you can trim the mounting flanges).

Nice horns (I have the XT1464), but I don't think he will be able to trim the flange down enough.

I have a pair of these too, they might be what he needs (with an adaptor). They should work well crossed at 2.5Khz to his 8".

SICA horns are cheap and smooth, but driver mounting is abnormal. Horn 119x119 mm, for 1 inch Sica compression driver
