Hi!
I have:
2 x Beyma 12p80ndv2
2 x Beyma CD10nd
I would like to make some compact mid top´s out of them. They will be used mainly for home Hi-Fi listening, but I would also like to use them for some small outdoors events.
I have been looking at the Beyma TD-164 and TD-194, but I don´t know if 60 or 90 degrees vill give the best result.
I am also open for other suggestions when it comes to the horn,
Please give me your opinion!

For outdoor events, definitely 90 degrees TD-194. For home, depends on room and listening position(s).
I would go for TD-194.
I would go for TD-194.
Faital Pro LTH102 - Faital Pro LTH102 1" long elliptical tractrix horn. Faital Pro LTH102 elliptical tractrix horns available here at US Speaker.
This horn sounds good, and is a reasonable price.

If you plan to use a passive crossover on the 12P80Nd, a horn with a similar physical offset could deliver improved transients with a "textbook" crossover circuit . From product documentation, the SEOS-12 has a similar physical offset with 90H x 40V polars.
Measurements of the 12P80Nd suggest that a BW3 or LR4 crossover around 1,400Hz would have an 80-90 degree horizontal polar match. If you plan a sealed box, tapering the rear volume can reduce resonances. A sealed volume of 0.3-0.4cuft models a desirable Qtc ~0.55
For indoor use, a single 18" woofer, plus room gain effects, should produce acceptable 95db bass. For outdoor use, most simualtions show that dual 18" woofers are necessary to match the 95db efficiency of the 12P80Nd. Bi-Amping allows dumping hi-watts into a single woofer to match the 12P80Nd.

Thx for your input´s!
I think I am going with a 90 degree horn, Sones say that it is best when used outdoors and LineSource have shown that it is a good match to the 12p80ndv2´s polar respons in the expected cross over range.
LineSource:
The SEOS-12 looks very interesting, and I can understand that many have very god experience with it in somewhat similar designs. However, it seems to be out off stock everywhere :-(
Do you think the TD194 will do a similar good job? after all it must be designet to work well with the CD10nd
Can you try to run a simulation with the TD194 in that program you are using.
Also, I was actually thinking of a bass reflex design, but dos it give any real improvement in SPL when the box is not intended to go under 100hZ?
I am planing on active croseowers.
I have and use the follovring gear:
- Digital sound sources
- Mini DSP DDRC-22D
- NAD DAC C510
- Peeckersound PS266 active crossover ( 2in 6 out)
- 2 x Crown XLS2500 (build in high or low pass)
- 1 x Crown XLS2502 (build in bandpass)
- 35-60Hz : 2 x Beyma 18g40 in separate boxes 150L bas reflex tunet to 30Hz
- 60-130Hz: 4x beyma 15g400 in front loaded and ported horn cabinets.
- 130-? Hz: bad sounding soundking speakers ( going to be replaced by this build)
- 1 Aragon 4004 and 1 NAD 216 THX, both not in use.
I can poste pictures of lisentning room if necessary, it is about 20 m3 but has a very large oppening in to a mother 25m3 room.
