Hello, im working on an amp for a friend who accidentally hooked up the power backwards on my workbench earlier today. The power was only applied backwards for a split second. The amp turns on but you get a serious hum. It is now VERY VERY sensitive to anything touching it. If you touch the RCA shield, the humm gets extremely loud and I even seen some serious DC applied to the speaker while touching the amp in different places. If you plug in RCAs, same thing. I tried hooking up my o-scope to check out the audio signal and as soon as i connected the ground clip to the RCA shield, it really freaked out and went into protect while throwing out some serious DC to the speaker.

Can anyone explain what is going on here? I take it there are some serious ground issues. Are the 2 grounds no longer isolated? Where should I start on this thing? Any help or direction would be much appreciated.
