Interesting new drivers by Beyma

There are some new drivers available from Beyma. The following two look especially interesting to me:

TPL200 - a new version of the TPL150. On the datasheet the frequency response looks a littel smoother than the already excellent TPL150 and the efficiency is a little higher. But it seems to roll off slightly higer than its older brother. And the price might be higher as well I guess. An interesting point is the statement "designed for high-end systems".

And this new 10" coaxial has parameters that seem to make it usable down to the forties in an equalized reflex tuning:

Too bad. I would rather have a ribbon which is usable at least from 500Hz, even with the sensitivity compromised. Looks like Beyma is going just the opposite way.

Hawthorne Audio are in the process of launching a range of AMT drivers, some of which will run lower than the Beymas. Otherwise, at lower sensitivities, the BG Neo 8S is very good if you can EQ the HF. Not a ribbon as such, but then neither are AMTs.
