Hello,

Am selling 2x Elna Silmics smoothing capacitors 22,000uF 56v Caps.

Ideal for Class A amps. PSU smoothers. These are rare caps. New and unused with clamps.

Wanting £25 ea.

The same as these. I will get dimensions if required. Will ship to UK & EU (obviously delivery will cost more)

PS. Got 4x 10000uF 80v Cerafines to add later.

This is the first time I've ever seen this type of Silmic capacitor with that strange voltage and capacitance rating.
According to Elna Simic datasheet, they do not have any 56v rating at all and for the nearest voltage rating which is 63V, the maximum capacitance is only 470uf

They were made as samples for me at an electronics company I worked for at the time. Elna would probably only make them nowadays for an amp manufacturer.

I could of got 47,000uF Silmics made also at the time but they were too big.

I've had many exotic components made before including custom Vishay bulk foil resistor networks etc. And film caps. I used to source semi's that were no longer available especially japanese semi's.

Sadly, I do not think Elna even make the large Cerafine smoothing caps any more. ie. 10,000uF 80v or 100v types.
