Hi,

I'm looking at this amp as a first build...

I have heard (but not found) that there are some mods or updates to this kit, for better performance and/or safety (e.g. bleeder resisters).

Anyone know of anything?

I'm very interested in purchasing this amp kit as a starter (since I have no clue about tubes) and I think I could learn a lot from building and modding one. I hear that replacing the capacitors with higher quality ones is the cheapest mod that has a large impact on sound, the next one is replacing the output transformers with higher quality ones.
