I have a volvo with the SC-811 radio. (made by alpine)
Am about to get an alpine CHM-S611 changer.
Does anyone have the pin to pin diagram or list ?
*Notes*
Car is base model so it does NOT have the looms installed. (Yes I've checked).
Radio does have changer control. (same as 815/816 and I believe 805 and a few others)
This changer is compatible. (Same as CHM-s 611/620/630)
Used to be able to get 'adaptor' leads, I don't know if you still can.
This is sorta beside the point as I won't have the money for one anyway.
So I really just need to get a suitable plug (radio side) and just rewire the alpine lead into it.
Thanks all............

The pinout of the plug will do nothing for you. The changer needs a changer controller deck to tell it what to do. How are you planning to change songs, change disks and fast forward and rewind??
Think you missed something that I wrote.
But thanks for trying to be helpfull any way.
😀
Did I forget to mention that not only is the radio built by alpine, But that the 'factory' volvo changer is an alpine CHM-S601/611/620 depending on the cars manufacturing date ?
See attached two pics.

Ta, yes I've seen the first link.
Second one gives me the amp pin out so that ones good, ta.
But it doesn't cover the cd connections.
I do have some info for the cd, but was just seeing if anyone had better or more reliable info than mine.
Have heard of some people letting the smoke out after not wiring it properly.

Thanks for that.
I should have all the info I need now.
Just have to wait for the changer to arrive so I can try out the theories.
If it works I'll do an update and let ya know.
Will be a few days before I get the changer though.
