Hi,

I see nothing wrong there, pin 3 of 74H is ground, ok, itīs a little bit complicated to see, my board isnīt still populated, there itīs more easy.

Iīve received my trany 6x9V from Bud/Onetics yesterday, 2 month of shipping, what impressive iron!!!!!!

Thanks Klaus. I immediately deleted my question when I studied it further. I have the Bud trans and its awesome! If only I could get the board to work.

He told me about shipping time. Crazy!! What did customs think it was??

Before I send this off to my friend in Canada, thanks again Strosek! I wanted to try one more thing. I chatted with Andrea this morning and he said I could hook up a speaker driver to the output I/V with a 2uF cap. I assume he means a film cap. I don't have a film cap in that value but I have one that is 10uF. That should be ok right?

here in Brazil the delay was only 2 weeks, this is normal here, the shipping time between States and Brazil was more than 1 month,

Let us know when its up and running!

As I dream about it coming back working I have a question regarding hi-rez music. The receiver chip is a 14 bit chip. Can it be replaced with a CS8416? Will that allow higher resolution files to be played? Or it is a fact of the Dac chip itself?

Nah the 6h6p/6n6p will run LOW (like 75volts and its still happy), but you have to keep the current up. Try to shoot for 15-25ma depending on your taste. I tryed setting one up with 2ma like a 12au7 and it didnt sound very good.

I have no idea how to rectify been working on this for a week or more ,getting tired of it ! cheers
