I don't know what you are mixing but If you will issue a full V1.2 to the general plug n' play public it will be a support nightmare, brace yourself.

Now V1.0. it is very good at 3.3V, use MJE350 or Bd140!

Well, its a faster CCS, positive to have, should be no problem if it will work in your layout as a hybrid with a proven V1 shunt part. Make sure its absolutely stable on scope and for enough practical real life tests. VR1 1K will never take it to tens of Volt out. Also your 5459s will be dead at 40V you aspire. Designate a 5k trimmer and 28V max in 22V max out spec.

I know, I have communicated such below 5V BJT solutions for TT DC motors and #26 filaments ages ago. MJE is 500mA max though, you better spec moderate loads and settings for such, before your customers will rev em up thinking they are like the Mosfets stuff.

Hey Quanghao,
How about producing PCBs with one shunt per board, positive or negative? Anyone else think this is a good idea? Would buy 4x for an I/V stage. Cheers, Neil |
