No need! R 8 = 270-470K, only protect you, and protect Cap 220uF when make Supply.

what is the vantage to put a transformer between DAC and I/V?

With my little knowledge I think it would be better put a transformer after the tube to illiminate the C2, how Andrea have made in his DAC-End.

Hi Quang Hao,

with the new PCB for SSHV for I/V Pre you have changed the circuit, you are using now the same of the the D3a phono pre.
I´m also interested in the E182CC version with output transformer, why you don´t make a two PCB version, SSHV and I/V seperated.
I just have 2 of the D3a SSHV PCB.
You have chematics for the new I/V-SSHV for DAC?

Hey guys, about to order 1uf caps. I'm going to order 2 x 1uf Mundorf Mcap Supreme for the I/V. Was just wondering if I need premium caps for the Salas Shunt as well.

Also, in the BOM, it says 2A/800V Diode 1N5819. Is it suppose to be 1N5062's instead cause the 1N5819 is 1A/40V.
