Any interest for a Group Buy for AD1865-NK (best spec). Still available from Digikey. Minimum order 15 pieces. It is cheaper to order in the US than in Europe (20% value added tax) :

Patrick, I dont mind assisting with a group buy for such a thing, however, I would not support devaluing the cost on a customs form, so value would be ~31 usd.
Expensive little chip.
This will be a pricey unit when done, output tranny and all, unless that can be avioided.

There are no cheap AD1865s around, and you can search the forum for comments about sonic differences between different grades. I personally would only go for the NK grade. And I think the PCB is designed for DIP package anyway.

Whatever, there does not seem to be much interest anyhow .....
