Im building a 2.1 system with Tangband W3 871s and W6-1139sg.
The responsecurve for the W6 is great in a 10-15 liter box tuned to around 30hz, provided that a passive radiator is used.
Nobody likes a four foot long port...
It's supposed to be a low-cost project, and I got the woofers for just over 25$ so bying a new passive radiator for 50$++ is undesirable...
The solution is knocking the magnet of a old seas 25cm driver, and add mass.
But how do i calculate the mass needed?
Anyone know of a website with some sort of calculator or formulas needed?
