Okay, I don't have a picture, but here goes:

They are the "box" style capacitors, with sharp corners on the packaging and small leads coming out of the bottom. I see them frequently on the voltage regulator boards for sale (they are a bright orange color).

Does this box style have an appropriate name, or part number? Are the capacitors that come in this box style usually of a certain kind (polyprop, electrolytic, etc.)?

I look up "box" and "capacitor" on Digikey and I can't find the capacitors in this style of packaing.

Hi,
the box style with radial leads out the bottom are most likely to be PES (polyester) metalised film.
What codes/values are written on them?

PP (polypropylene) also come in boxes but only for the low values due to the bulk of PP film.
Some PS (polystyrene) come in boxes, again only low values.
They will NOT be electrolytic (aluminium/tantalum).
