I got hold of a fully working Sony DTC 1000es DAT recorder and opened it up.
Nice Noble pot - full of Elna & Nichicon Muse caps, TDA1541A DAC SAA7220P Filter chip.
I'm thinking of stripping it out - can it be put to other use I haven't thought of? Just thought I'd ask before diving in with soldering iron.
