Modified Jung regulator...

Hi,

I am looking into replacing the power supply to my denon dvd 2900 and some other components and I was wondering how the Modified Jung pcb's would work for this?

Does anyone hav information on how to set the voltage output on them? WHat is the max current that can be pull through them?

I belive these formulas will help you...



Vout= Vref x (1+R5/R3) Vref= breakdown voltage for D1/D2 (for LM329=6V95 or TL431=2V5 if you need 5V or less for Vout)

(R3 x R5)/(R3+R5)=500 Ohma (+/-10 Ohma max.)

An LM317/337 handles 1.5 A, the D44H11/D45H11 does 10 A.
Take your pick !
The resistor value for setting the output voltage is above the circuit.
Mouser sells the D44H11/D45H11.
The LM3290Z sets the reference voltage at 6.9V.

if you are cramped for space, you might consider the MJD44H11 and MJD45H11 -- these are a bit smaller, DPak -- handle 8 amps. In talking with ON-Semi I figured out the correct heat sink.
