I bought a 2nd hand pair of ESL 63s.

They are 10 years old - but havent been used for more than 4 years.
I think that because of that, and that they are in Uruguay, where
we have more than 80 % average humidity - they depeloved some faults.

They make some sparking noises - although they do not make any flashing lights of arcing - and also they also make some very loud white noise (or is it pink ?) all of the time.

Do you have any suggestions ?
Thank you for any comment.

Sometimes ESLs attract dust due to the static charge. It's also possible that they picked up dust while in storage. Dust inevitably contains a percentage of particles that are sufficiently conductive that they serve as a conductor and start arcing. People tend to argue about which is better: use suction (a vacuum cleaner) or pressure (compressed air) to remove the dust. Your choice.
It's cheap and quick. Just don't damage the speaker.
