Want to glue 3/4' panels together,

My experience is that this layering does not bond well in MDF. The first 1/8 of inch will be tightly glued but if enough pressure is applied to the two boards they will separate just a bit deeper in the panel. To prevent this, I insert thin biscuits of wood (like the ones on the top right of this image) at irregular intervals in the board insuring that the glue touches every layers in the MDF board. In theory MDF should not have layers, but in reality, the cheaper one does seem to be glued in layers and can be separated by bumping the edge of the panel on the floor slighty in angle. When strictly gluing the panels the same will happen. With the proper biscuit added the two panels are way harder to separate.

Hope this helps!
